I was looking to purchase some cheap golf clubs from gumtree, and decided to search online for new clubs.
Found this deal on amazon for

      It seems strange… I found a steel 4-PW + AW for a price I would buy them at but wont ship to Aust.. but other combos do… :(

    Keep in mind this is a set of only 6 irons when comparing to other vendors.

    For example this store has 4-PW for $575 delivered , compared to Amazon $534 USD plus delivery.

    Given the forgiving nature of these clubs i'd be getting at least the 4 and 5, and would be very tempted by the 3.

      Not that I know anything about golf, but the set you link is Steel - not graphite. Looking at some of the other callway sets, you add $100 for graphite. So approximately 675$ in reality delivered for graphite. So it ends up being approximately 300$ more expensive - for the addition of one club …

        lol i thought steel was more expensive since they're stiffer. Perhaps it depends on the retailer.

        It seems like the equivalent Amazon set in Uniflex steel is $522?

    Also I would say go and have a look on EBay. Found same clubs but with two extra irons for just under AUD$500 delivered.
    Obviously golfbox are way over priced on this set. Don't get me wrong still a great deal but not as great as first appears.

    Unless you play on a very short course or are a utility club freak then 6-sw is pretty useless as ts only 1/2 a set.

    Hmm tempting… but I would prefer a 5, if not a 4 iron as well, but those prices are not that great.. strange the 6-PW + SW is cheaper than just the 6-PW! If you are happy with steel shafts, then I went looking at 3balls and they have the full 4-PW set for $350 + $75 priority fedex post. So only $50 more if you prefer a 4 & 5 and dont need the SW. Plus you can often find codes for 3balls.. just signup and you would get 10% off that price for example.

    Son bought himself a set mid december, christened them over Christmas break.
    The clubs and bag were fine, nut holding the stick was a bit ordinary though.

    FYI Back of the West Australian was an ad from Golfbox for a set 4-PW with graphite shafts for $487.. if you want local… about $100 more than the OP set but includes 1 extra club and a more useful set overall IMO.
